About Global Home Interiors

Global Home Interiors is a full-service design studio founded by Vivian Hung and Joe Giamarese, distinguished for creating richly layered interiors that are at once globally influenced and intimately personal.

Our vision is rooted in a lifelong pursuit of design excellence. Prior to founding Global Home, we held senior roles at some of the world’s most influential brands, including Vogue, Calvin Klein, and Martha Stewart Living—immersing ourselves in the intersection of fashion, publishing, and culture. It was, however, a transformative journey—eighteen months spent traveling across six continents and more than twenty countries—that profoundly shaped our design perspective. Exposure to diverse architectural traditions, artisanal craftsmanship, and regional aesthetics instilled in us a deeply global sensibility that continues to define our work.

Since its founding in 2004, Global Home has grown into a multifaceted design practice encompassing interior design, retail, and interior renovation project management. From our flagship retail presence in New York City’s Flatiron District to our award-winning studio, our work is recognized for its quiet sophistication, textural depth, and enduring elegance.

Our interiors have been featured in The New York Times, Aspire Design and Home, New York Spaces, Decorations Singapore, and Remodelista, and on NBC’s Open House—a testament to a design approach that transcends trends in favor of timeless expression.

Now based in Princeton, NJ, we work with a discerning clientele across New York City, the Hamptons, New Jersey, and the greater Philadelphia area, as well as select projects nationwide and internationally, including recent commissions in Miami and Italy.

Global Home offers a comprehensive suite of services, from full-scale residential and hospitality design and pre-construction consulting to kitchen and bath renovations, construction oversight, and exterior environments. Each project is approached with meticulous attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to craftsmanship, guiding our clients seamlessly from concept through completion.
